Rosina is a wife and mother of 3 children (2 boys, 1 girl) born in 2007, 2009, and 2012. After the birth of her daughter in 2009, she took her birth doula training with DONA International and became certified in 2011. She proceeded to have a doula supported birth in 2012. She also took the postpartum doula training through ProDoula in 2016.
Rosina has attended a wide variety of births from planned cesareans to midwife attended home births and focuses on providing open minded support to all families. She aims to support whatever choices her clients make during their birth and parenting journey.
Rosina's personal birth and child rearing experiences have made her passionate about birth and babies. She has over 8 years of experience with babywearing and cloth diapering and recently completed Level 1 and 2 of the CBS Babywearing Educators Course. Rosina is also active in the local community helping with events and fundraisers as well as co-leading the local babywearing group.
In her off time she is passionate about Autism advocacy and enjoys taking the time to read a good book, knit, or bake. She also enjoys a great cup of tea.
